Location: Leamington Spa

Salary: Competitive

Hours: Permanent, Monday-Friday, 36.5 hours per week

An opportunity has arisen for a dynamic and highly motivated Payroll Administrator to join our team in our Leamington office.

Working as part of the firm’s friendly and supportive Payroll Team, you will be responsible for:

  • Processing end to end payrolls on a weekly, fortnightly and monthly basis
  • Autoenrollment Administration
  • Liaising with HMRC; setting up PAYE schemes for clients with HMRC
  • Calculating statutory leave payments such as SSP/SMP/SPP/SHPP, ensuring compliance with government guidelines
  • Responding to client queries
  • You will be responsible for your own payroll portfolio, the size of the payrolls will vary

 

Overall Requirements:

  • Experience of using Sage 50 Payroll or Xero Payroll
  • Solid written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to be resourceful and proactive when issues arise
  • Excellent organisational skills
  • Time-management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks
  • Excellent Customer service skills
  • Able to adapt to wide variety of task requirements
  • Professional attitude and appearance

 

Desirable skills & experience:

  • Experience in payroll processing, ideally at least 2 years payroll experience at a UK accountancy firm or payroll bureau
  • Sound knowledge of auto enrolment
  • Solid written and verbal communication skills
