Coventry & Warwickshire's biggest indoor play and party place for children

A female entrepreneur has opened Coventry and Warwickshire’s biggest indoor play and party place for children.
Donna Sillito from Kenilworth has launched Jam Jam Boomerang, an 8,000 sq ft centre, at the end of November after the funding was secured by a leading accountancy and business advisor.
The unit at Middlemarch Business Park in Siskin Drive features a 200 seat café area and play equipment including slides, soft play areas, a football and basketball zone and a car track.
Coventry and Warwickshire accountancy firm Harrison Beale and Owen helped put the six-figure finance in place with HSBC for the business, which will employ around 25 staff.
As a mother of eight-year-old twins Donna, aged 45, came up with the idea for a centre aimed at children up to 12-years-old after she couldn’t believe the area hadn’t got a suitable indoor play centre.
“As I’ve experienced first hand, parents are often looking for ways to entertain their children,” she said.
“Many of the indoor centres I have taken my own children to are small places attached to pubs or old fashioned units built 15 years ago and not updated.
“An area the size of Coventry and Warwickshire needs a place like this, where children can play, exercise and learn all at the same time.
“I’ve been quietly thinking about the idea for the last four years and have been actively pursuing it for the last two years.”
Donna approached HB&O to get help and advice getting the funding together and another Coventry and Warwickshire firm – property agents Shortland Horne – helped secure the premises near Coventry airport.
