Leading Coventry and Warwickshire accountants and business advisers Harrison Beale & Owen has launched a new division to help owner-managed businesses.
The payroll and book-keeping bureau service is designed to help firms prepare their payroll, financial records and ensure they keep up-to-date with the latest legislation.
A team of six dedicated specialist staff at the HB&O Leamington office will assist businesses using the very latest Sage accountancy systems.
Jo Leppard, manager of the bureau and consultant at HB&O, said the service removes much of the hassle faced by owner-managed businesses in the area.
She said: “Running a payroll and book-keeping might seem straightforward but it takes time for a company to stay in touch with the latest legislation – time which owners and managers can spend more effectively focusing on their business.
HB&O has offered these services to clients for a number of years, but this new division with dedicated staff will provide a total solution with advice on broader areas including HR issues and tax queries.
Our typical clients tend to be firms with enough staff on the payroll to make it problematic, but not enough employees to justify an in-house payroll department.
The service is already popular with existing clients and there are also companies who just use the bureau and as a result we will shortly be recruiting more staff.”
