Having an accountant who will go the extra mile for your business is essential in today's climate and that is exactly what Leamington Spa-based marketing firm Vital has found with HB&O.

Having 'inherited' HB&O when it took over Vital's previous accountants, the two firms enjoy a close working relationship based on HB&O's keen understanding of the media and marketing sector.

HB&O currently looks after audit, taxation and payroll for Vital, although in the past, the firm would send accountants to spend time in Vital's offices, helping with matters such as debtors and VAT.

The firm currently deals with tax director Andy Farren, who looks after taxation matters; Emily Howard, who carries out Vital's audits, and Alex Baulcombe, who advises on issues such as changes in legislations.

Vital's finance director, Cathy Clarke, has nothing but praise for HB&O.

She says: "They go the extra mile. It's a pleasure working with each and every one of them. I've worked with them for a while now and long may it continue because we have had nothing but good work from HB&O.

"They understand and appreciate the work we do and offer us advice based on that, rather than just giving us general advice.
