The ICAEW is a world leader of the accountancy and finance profession with more than 134,000 members in over 160 countries.
ICAEW members are expected to maintain high standards of ethical and professional conduct. Its Practice Assurance scheme gives members a framework to help assess and develop their own practices and demonstrates their commitment to upholding and developing professional standards.
All members must comply with the ICAEW's scheme of Continuing Professional Development to ensure that their knowledge and skills are kept up to date.

The ACCA is the largest and fastest-growing global professional accountancy body in the world, with over 493,500 members and students in 170 countries.
The association dates back to 1904 and its members, known as Chartered Certified Accountants, are employed in industry, financial services, the public sector, or in public practice. The ACCA has a particular understanding of the real issues facing small businesses: 63,000 ACCA members work in small and medium-sized enterprises or in small partnerships worldwide.

The AAT (Association of Accounting Technicians) is the UK's leading qualification and membership body for accounting staff, awarding around 90 per cent of all vocational qualifications in accounting.
It is sponsored by the professional accounting bodies the Chartered Institute of Public Finance and Accountancy (CIPFA), the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW), the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA) and the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Scotland (ICAS) and has more than 120,000 members in more than 90 countries worldwide.
Members include students, people working in accountancy and self-employed business owners.
HB&O is an AAT Accredited Employer.
The HB&O Financial Services team have been awarded Chartered Financial Planners status by the Chartered Insurance Institute (CII), the world's largest insurance and financial services professional body.
The CII has 90,000 members and has been at the forefront in setting professional standards for the insurance industry for over a century.
We are a member of MGI, one of the largest associations of independent auditing, accounting and consulting firms in the world.
Through MGI, we have instant access to the knowledge and resources of more than 280 member offices in 83 countries, so wherever in the world you want to do business, we can work with firms with the same client-focused approach as our own to assist you.
Professional Contractors Group
The PCG represents, supports and promotes freelancers, contractors and consultants in the UK and has around 20,000 members, including IT consultants, engineers, oil and gas contractors, project managers, business and management consultants, interim managers and media and marketing professionals.
Accountancy practices must pass the PCG's tough training and assessment programme to become affiliates.
As a member of the Sage Accountants' Club, we are linked to a market leader in accounting, payroll, financial forecasting, job costing and other software, used by six million businesses round the world.
As well as always being up-to-date on Sage's latest initiatives, services and changes to programmes, we can advise on cost-effective Sage solutions for your business, supply software at a discount and provide training and ongoing support.
Investors in People (IIP) status recognises businesses that improve their performance by making the most of their employees' skills and capabilities. The accreditation is held by around 35,000 UK organisations of all sizes and in all sectors.
We first achieved IIP status in 2001 and undergo challenging three-yearly reviews to ensure that we continue to meet the standards required. Our IIP accreditation reflects our recognition that a committed, motivated workforce benefits both our business and our clients.
Renewable Energy Technology Alliance
Renewable Energy Technology Alliance is a consortium of local businesses working together to win commercial projects, enable employment and training opportunities as well as create a quality assurance programme that goes beyond MCS and provides competitive advantage. RETA is currently bidding for a number of major contracts, which will benefit those who are members.
